Mirai Language Academy is operated by MiraiWorks OÜ, a private limited company (osaühing) registered in Estonia, EU (registry code: 17421958, registered 26 January 2026). Registered address: Tartu mnt 67/1-13b, Kesklinna linnaosa, Tallinn, Harju maakond, Estonia. Contact: hello@mirailanguage.com.

What we collect and why

We collect personal data only when you voluntarily provide it:

  • Name and contact details (WeChat ID, email, or phone) — to respond to enquiries and arrange lessons.
  • Program of interest and message — to provide relevant information about our courses.
  • Payment data — processed by Stripe; we do not store card details on our servers.

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or Google Analytics.

Legal basis (GDPR)

Processing is based on your explicit consent given at the point of collection (the checkbox on the enquiry form) and, where applicable, the performance of a contract.

Cross-border data transfer (PIPL notice)

If you are located in mainland China, your personal data will be transferred to and processed in the European Union (Estonia) by MiraiWorks OÜ. By submitting the enquiry form, you explicitly consent to this cross-border transfer, as required by China's Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL).

How long we keep your data

Enquiry data is retained for up to 2 years or until you request deletion, whichever comes first. Payment records are kept for the period required by applicable law (typically 7 years for invoices).

  • Stripe — payment processing (privacy policy)
  • Cal.com — lesson scheduling (privacy policy)
  • Plausible / Umami — cookieless website analytics, EU-hosted

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or withdraw consent for your personal data at any time. Email hello@mirailanguage.com to exercise these rights. We will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for the site to function. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. No consent banner is required.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be flagged on this page with a revised date.
